Protecting your interests while handling an insurance claim takes experience… experience with people. That kind of experience is acquired over time… and with guidance of someone with experience.
Allwest Adjusters are people first
Handling insurance claims is a “people skill”. You can buy software to do your taxes, but you will never be able to buy software to handle an insurance claim. A property loss is “too human” an event. People have lost their house, their keepsakes, their treasures, their chronicles of their lives, and perhaps even loved ones. Finding a way to make a “monetary disbursement” help all at a time such as that takes a human touch. It takes special people.
Allwest Adjusters are experienced at helping
The people at Allwest Adjusters have the best job in the world. They get to help people who need them desperately and they get paid for it. Since Allwest was founded, in 1982, the people who are Allwest Adjuster’s adjusters have been on the spot, ready to help people after a loss. In a sense, they are heroes. Just as the fireman who fights to save your property and loved ones from burning house is a hero, so too is the person who fights to rebuild your loss by handling the insurance claim.
But sadly, this eagerness to help you when you need it most is disparaged. Some people try to draw a parallel between an over-zealous lawsuit attorney, an “ambulance chaser”, and a Public Adjuster, calling them “fire truck chasers.” It only makes sense that they need to be there as soon as possible. But how could they help you any better?
Allwest Adjusters was founded on experience
Bob Smith already had 18 years of experience as a Public Adjuster when he founded Allwest Adjusters, over two decades ago. As Bob served the insured community as a Public Adjuster, he also served as “mentor” to up and coming people, including the current President of Allwest Adjusters. His 38 years of experience helping people was passed down.
Since then, “Uncle Bob” has handed the reins of Allwest to the next generation of Public Adjusters. But they still look to him as the “father figure”, and when a claim gets tricky, they seek his knowledge, experience and his human touch. You can learn from experience, but you can also learn from watching the experienced. And now, those whom Bob taught are teaching others…
“Uncle Bob” has since passed on, but his experience and his values have been passed on to those who remain at the helm of Allwest Adjusters.
“Hi… You have reached the Office of Allwest Adjusters…” (not exactly)
When you call Allwest Adjusters at (253) 896-3700, you don’t get their switchboard. You get the phone of an adjuster. Often times, the phone of the President*. Allwest Adjusters is not a massive corporate structure with a bevy of adjusters on the bottom row. Allwest is a network of individual adjusters, each working in his or her own local area. Each adjuster is the “president of his own company.” How much better could it get than a direct line to the president? You can’t call the President of your insurance company, can you?
